These are not your everyday pearls. The button pearl is symmetrical but slightly ‘flattened’ compared with spherical pearls. As a result, it is substantially bigger and is a real statement. Their size and shape recall pearlized buttons on a vintage dress and they have a real air of sophistication. Because of their shape, gravity does not pull the earring forward so they sit nicely on the lobe and look superb with hair up or down. The black colour is striking and iridescent like a peacock’s tail, which means they pair well with a pearl choker but are strong enough to work as a standalone. While with a little black dress, they are unmatched.
