MLJ ship worldwide.
When you purchase an ‘in stock’ item, it ships within 1 to 3 days from the date of order. If the item you purchase happens to be ‘out of stock’ or your order is ‘custom’, MLJ will advise you of the timeline for production and delivery.
We ship your parcel with Canada Post's Xpresspost. Your package will have a tracking number that will be sent to you by email as soon as your order is on its way. A signature will be required upon delivery. Please be sure you are available to receive the package or it will go to the nearest post office for pick up.
Shipping rates and approximate delivery times are as follows:
Canada: $15 CAD, 3-5 business days
USA: $20 CAD, 5-10 business days
International: $40 CAD, 10-15 business days
*Shipping rates may increase in cases where extra insurance is necessary.

Should you wish to receive your order sooner, expedited delivery can be arranged for an additional charge. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get a quote on faster delivery times and pricing.
For international orders the recipient is the ‘importer of record’. This means you will be responsible for all related duties, taxes and brokerage fees. Fees are determined by the recipient's destination country and the retail value of your invoice. These fees are beyond our control. It is advised that you contact your local customs office for more information. Modern Love Jewellery are not responsible for any of these additional fees that may occur.
MLJ want you to be completely in love with your purchase. Should you feel that a return for store credit or exchange is necessary, we will gladly accept most items* within 10 days from delivery. All returned items must be in original packaging in unworn condition, accompanied with a sales receipt and a written reason for the return.
(*Stock items that have been augmented to specific sizes/measurements at the buyer’s request at the time of purchase as well as all sale items and custom orders are non-refundable.)
For purchases made online, please contact us at (905) 318-0854 or at email@example.com for a return authorization (RA) number. You will receive the return address to ship the parcel to along with your RA# by email. Once an RA# has been obtained you may ship your item for exchange/credit.
Please know we will not accept any returns without this number.
Upon receipt and approved review/inspection by MLJ you will receive your credit/exchange. However, all shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
MLJ take great care to thoroughly inspect all merchandise for defects and damage prior to shipment, it is the buyer’s responsibility to check the product upon arrival to make sure it is free of any defects. Goods damaged due to the buyer’s negligence will not be accepted for credit or exchange. Any return or exchange that does not meet the above criteria will be sent back to the customer.
If you wish to cancel your purchase from our website, you have 24 hours to advise MLJ in order to obtain a full refund. Otherwise a credit note will be issued for the value of your order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled. Once MLJ have received a deposit on custom work it is considered approved to proceed to completion.
A partial refund may be considered dependent on the stage of production and circumstances.
MLJ are pleased to offer complimentary consultations. Detailed discussions of custom work, gemstone reviews and showroom visits are all made by scheduled appointment. We value your time just as much as we do our other clients’, as well as our own. While there is no fee for booking a time to meet with us, MLJ policy requires a credit card to reserve the appointment. Only if you fail to show, or do not give sufficient advance notice of cancellation/rescheduling will your card be charged a fee of $100.00. We understand that ‘life’ happens. When possible we kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice. If circumstances do not allow for that, we will accept 6 hours’ notice in advance of your scheduled appointment.
