Many of MLJ’s best pieces are romantically inspired. This is what happened with this beautiful pendant, which was originally conceived of as a “something blue” for a bride to wear. A fixed horizontal bar of bead-set aquamarines bookended with round diamonds set in white gold, this pendant is the height of understated romance. The pale blue aquamarines combined with the clarity of the diamonds and the lightness of the precious metal create a very delicate overall effect. We see it as the ideal groom’s gift to his future wife on their wedding day, or for the bridesmaids to buy for the bride. However, this lovely necklace would work just as well for someone who loved white gold and the subtlety of the colour combination. An extremely versatile piece, it can be saved for big occasions or layered with other necklaces (such as our aquamarine, pale yellow sapphire, or pink topaz pendants) in a more casual day-to-day style. It is entirely up to you!
At Modern Love Jewellery, we are fully committed to ethical jewellery. We aim to work only with responsibly sourced or recycled precious metals. All of our gemstones are natural, as are our diamonds, which are Canadian or conflict free.
