When we had the MLJ heart logo designed, we felt it achieved something rare. It conveyed a sense of love in a way that was contemporary and not “cutesy”. Lines criss-cross the heart to evoke the facets of a finely cut gemstone, as well as elevating it as a design. We then realized there was a demand for the heart logo as individual jewellery pieces and so we created the “Modern Love” studs and floating pendants. Each pendant is set on a fine rolo sterling silver chain. The contrast between the warm, luxurious yellow gold and the cool of the chain makes for a compelling look. The style of the pendant is naturally quite relaxed and would pair with a cool denim or leather jacket and tee. If you like matching different jewellery elements (and we realize that not everyone does), this would go well with the “Modern Love” stud earrings in either the same metal or a complementary one.
