When most jewellery is designed, little attention is paid to how it moves. At MLJ, we believe kinetics can play an important part in a piece’s unique appeal. For this rare charm pendant, we combined some stunning gemstones—the centrepiece being the beautiful blue Montana sapphire that is over a quarter-carat—with an unusual bar pendant arrangement. Inspired by our bespoke “Sparrow” necklace (see the Custom Gallery page), we created a floating-style pendant for the sapphire and a separate white diamond bar. As you move, the sparkling diamond bar sways slightly, independently of the magnificent blue sapphire, creating a complex interplay of movement and light. Such a unique creation guarantees attention and compliments. Its unusual nature and the size and beauty of the stones make this dramatic pendant best suited to the grander occasions in life—professional, romantic, or nuptial!

This item can be made to order in other metals and karats (yellow/rose/white golds) as well as platinum. It can be custom ordered in different proportions and with different shapes and sizes of gemstone.
